San Diego County has lots of hidden places where there is still
evidence of the original inhabitants of this area. I have taken
photos of a couple of these areas.
Presently, I have photos of the artifacts in Blair Valley and Indian
Hill. Both of these locations are in the southeastern part of San
Diego County. They are both located off of the same road. The road
is usually called S-2. Its longer name is one of my favorite street
names. It is more formally known as "The Great Southern Overland Stage
Route Of 1849." Can you imagine putting that on an envelope? I have
visited both of these places a couple of times.
Neither of these sites are near paved roads. They both can be reached
by traveling on dirt/sand roads and then some hiking.
