Windmill Farms and Joel Detjen
Windmill Farms is a local grocery and health foods store. Joel Detjen is a nutritional counselor.
He is a regular guest on the KUSI Morning News.
On January 25, 2006, Joel visited us to talk about foods which are good for your joints.

Joel joins Susan Lennon with a variety of foods good for your joints.

Many of these foods are very common items.

Omega 3 fish oils are great for joints, as are vitamin E, Olive oil and salmon.

More good foods are most salads, cucumbers, avocados, red peppers and cherries.

I'll be back soon with more information.

Joel came by on March 13, 2006 to talk about ways to add variety to your salads.

Prepacked salads can stay fresh for a couple of weeks if properly refrigerated.

There are lots of healthy things you can add to your salad.

Goat cheese and cilantro can add a special kick.
