My trip to Utah and Mesa Verde in April 2006



I love to travel. In April of 2006, I visited many special places in southern Utah. I also visited Mesa Verde in Colorado. If you would like to see lots of pictures of these places, you have come to the right place.

There are over 1,000 photos on these pages, so each page might take some time to load. Please be patient and enjoy my pictures.

Nine Mile Canyon has lots of petroglyphs.

Goblin Valley is an amazing geological structure which few people have heard of.

The Canyonlands are the home of some large rivers and deep canyons.

The Goosenecks of the San Juan River are a place where the river just keeps winding back on itself.

The Moki Dugway is a roadway which goes up the side of a mountain. It offers some fastinating views.

Mesa Verde is the home of some of the oldest structures in North America. Some are over 1,100 years old.

Newspaper Rock is one of the largest finds of petroglyghs (rock art) to be found all in one place.

Arches National Park has some of the most amazing gelogical formations in the world.

Black Dragon Canyon is another deep canyon in the heart of Utah.
