Popo and Izta - 2001 - More pictures of "Popo" and "Izta" from the village of Amecameca. Amecameca is west of the volcanoes and is at 7,500 feet. It lies in Popo's "danger zone." Popo had a minor eruption just a few weeks after my visit.
