Sea World/Busch Gardens Animal Ambassador Julie Scardina
Julie Scardina is Sea World/Busch Gardens' Animal Ambassador. She, and her staff, are regular visitors to
KUSI. They bring by some interesting animals. It is always interesting to be able to interact with these
fastinating critters.
There are LOTS of pictures on this page. It might take some time to load. Please be patient.
On March 7, 2006, Julie's crew brought by a zebra, a Himalayan brown bear, a porcupine and some African cranes.

The bear cub joined Renee Kohn for a weather forecast.

Executive Producer Libby Shaw feeds one of the bear cubs.

This is the crane's traveling case.

The porcupine was very interested in something under the table.

A closeup with some grapes.

The cranes made themselves at home in the KUSI newsroom.

It was hard to get them in focus because they moved so quickly.

The cranes dancing on the counter.

Oh, I think I see some bird food over here!

Oh well, back in the box...
On December 12, 2005, Julie came by with a reindeer, some penguins, and an otter.

Susan & Julie.

The otter smells my shoes.

Something tastes good.

Hey, look, we're on TV!

Maybe Phil has some food.
On November 16, 2005, Julie brought by a kangaroo, a lemur, an alligator and a tiger!

One of our editors, Brandon, makes a friend.

Julie shows Susan a close look at an alligator.

For an alligator, it was very well behaved.

The lemur...

The lemur is a bit camera shy.

Romeo and the Roo...

Did you ever try to herd a kangaroo?

This big kitty likes milk, too.

I'll get your shoes, next.

Anyone have a napkin?
