2006 Academy Award designer Joan Maloney
Joan Maloney owns the graphic arts company Studio 318. She was awarded the contract to design the main graphics
for the 2006 Academy Awards. This is the first time a woman, and a San Diegan has ever been chosen. She came
by the KUSI studios on January 19, 2006 to show us her winning posters.
