My May 2006 makeover

After losing lots of weight, KUSI Fashion Guru Leonard Simpson asked me if I would be willing to participate in a makeover. I decided to give it a try. On May 22, I had a facial, a massage and a manicure thanks to the nice folks at Face Factory in El Cajon. Later, Leonard met me at Peter James in Del Mar to pick out some clothes. Then, I went to Tony Reda's Head Games salon in Hillcrest for some work on my hair.

When I wrote this, it had been almost five days, and I was still not quite used to the changes. The general concensus has been very positive. Leonard can arrange to do a makeover for you, too. I have posted some links for all of the participants at the bottom of the page.

After getting my hair cut and colored, it was time to dry my hair. The hair dryer is real. I felt like I was in an old episode of "I Love Lucy."
