The High Occupancy Vheicle (HOV) or Carpool lanes were closed for 9 days on Interstate 15 between State Route 56 and 163 in June 2011. Unfortunately, there were not any good alternative routes.

This cause some considerable backups and delays on the freeway and nearby roads. We flew overhead in Sky10 every weekday while this was happening to report on the conditions.

The following photos will show how backed up the roads were.
